GLK massage seat problem

Thanks for the quick reply! Good shout on the fuse, I'll check that first thing. As for the error code, it was pretty generic, something like 'Massage seat circuit malfunction'. Wiggling the wires is a good idea, I'll give that a try too. When your seat motor failed, did it throw any other codes, or was it just completely dead? I'm wondering if it's worth looking at the seat motor itself, or focusing on the wiring first.

The error code I got was pretty similar to yours, nothing super specific. Honestly, I messed around with it for a bit, but eventually just took it to a workshop. They found a broken wire in the seat harness and fixed it pretty quickly. If you're not comfortable digging into the wiring yourself, that might be the best bet. It could save you time and potential headaches. Good luck!

Thanks for the help! I ended up taking it to a workshop as you suggested. It turns out, it was a corroded connector under the seat, just like the error said. They cleaned it up, and now the massage seat is working perfectly again. It cost me 95€, which is what I expected. I appreciate the advice!

I had something similar on my Mercedes, though it's not a GLK. The massage seat motor just quit. I'd check the fuse first, it sounds simple, but it's worth a shot. If not, maybe try wiggling the wires under the seat while someone tries to turn the massage function on? It could be a dodgy connection like the error suggests. Did the error code give you any more specific details?
