No, mine did not exhibit any erratic behavior prior to its complete failure It simply ceased to function one day Were you able to resolve your issue Was it indeed a problem with the sensors, and if so, was it merely faulty wiring or something more substantial

Mine turned out to be a bad sensor I couldn’t tell you exactly which one I just took it to a workshop Sometimes it's just better to have a professional look at these things They can diagnose it properly and replace just the faulty part

It appears that a visit to a qualified technician is the most prudent course of action I shall endeavor to have the vehicle examined and the faulty wiring or sensors rectified promptly I trust that will restore the parking assist system to its intended functionality After visiting the workshop, the cable to the ultrasonic sensor was defective, and the issue is now resolved

I had something similar happen with my GLK The parking assist went completely haywire It was beeping constantly even when there was nothing around Did yours start doing that before it quit altogether The proximity sensors can be pretty sensitive
