Glow plug warning light flashing problem on VW Golf Plus Diesel

Hello everyone, I own a 2010 VW Golf Plus with a diesel engine and 225600 km. I have a problem with the check engine light that comes on. For some time now, the glow plug warning light has been flashing on my dashboard when the engine is at operating temperature, but this does not happen every time. This phenomenon disappears when I turn off the engine and restart it after waiting. The glow plugs, the air flow meter, and the air and fuel filters are new. I can't identify the source of the problem. Does anyone have any idea where this could be coming from? Thank you in advance for your help!

Start by checking for any stored error codes using an OBD-II scanner, as this can provide specific information about the issue. If you don't have a scanner, many auto parts stores offer free code reading services. Let me know what codes you find, and we can go from there.

The code I had is P010100

The P0101 code indicates a problem with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor circuit range or performance. Since you've already replaced the air flow meter, check for any vacuum leaks or damaged hoses around the intake system, as these can affect the MAF sensor readings. Also, ensure the MAF sensor is properly connected and clean. Let me know if you find anything unusual or if the issue persists.

Well, that had already been checked when I had my air flow meter changed and the person found nothing abnormal.

Double-check the electrical connections to the MAF sensor for any corrosion or loose wires, as these can sometimes cause intermittent issues. If everything looks good, consider checking the condition of the air intake system for any blockages or restrictions. Keep me updated on your findings or if the problem continues.
