Grace Power Tailgate Error
Summary of the thread
The power tailgate of a 2020 Honda Grace was not opening completely and displayed an error. After checking for obstructions, a possible cause identified was a defective hall sensor cable connection. The suggested solution was to inspect and potentially replace this connection, which resolved the issue when addressed by a professional.

You mean the hall sensor cable and plug connection of the tailgate motor? Where is that located? Is it easily accessible?

Yes, that's it. It's a bit of a pain to get to. If you're not comfortable with car electrics, take it to a workshop. It might be a defective connection, like it was in my case. Cost me about 95€ to fix.

I went to a workshop, and the cable connection to the hall sensor was indeed defective. They replaced it, and now the tailgate works perfectly. The bill was 95€, just as you said! Thanks!

I had a similar tailgate issue with my Grace. Check the hall sensor cable and plug connection. That fixed it for me.
