Grandeur diesel injection issue

My 2011 Hyundai Grandeur diesel is giving me some grief. At 151765 km, I'm seeing higher fuel consumption, reduced engine power, and it sometimes stalls at idle. Plus, there's smoke when accelerating. I suspect it's the injection system. Has anyone experienced something similar? Could it really just be a defective cable or plug connection?

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old Peugeot. Petrol engine, though. Performance was terrible, and it turned out to be a leaky connection somewhere. Could that be it?

A leaky connection, you say? Was it obvious, or did you have to hunt for it? Any idea where it was located?

Honestly, I couldn't find it myself. Took it to a workshop, and they sorted it out. Best to let someone with the right tools check it over, don't you think?

Appreciate the input. Turns out it was a faulty plug connection to the injector, just as I suspected! Cost me 95€ to fix.
