Grandland X AdBlue Tank Error

Thanks for the quick reply. No noticeable changes in fuel consumption or smells, to be honest. Just the error message and now the no-start condition. What kind of trouble did you have with your injection system? Was it a similar set of symptoms?

Right, mine was slightly different the engine would start, but it was running rough, and the emissions light was on. It ended up being a faulty injector. Given your symptoms and the no-start, it does sound like a more serious issue with the AdBlue delivery system itself. I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop; could be a blocked line or a failing pump. I remember vaguely that tank capacity is around 15 liters or so, but it won't help you much in this case.

Appreciate the insight. Sounds like I'm heading to the workshop then. I suspected as much, given the no-start. Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I just got the car back; the AdBlue pump was indeed defective. Repair cost me 250€. All good now!

I have a Grandland X diesel too, and that sounds familiar. When the error message first appeared, did you also notice any changes in fuel consumption or any unusual smells, particularly after longer drives? I'm wondering if it's related to the DEF injection system, since I had some trouble with mine a while back.
