Grandland X alarm malfunction

I had a similar issue with my old Volvo V70. Alarm went haywire. Did you check the siren's connection?

You had same symptoms? Where was the fault located exactly? It is a pain to find on GrandlandX.

Yes, same symptoms. I took it to a shop in the end. They found a corroded connector at the siren. Best to have it checked.

Thanks for the hint. Indeed the connector had corrosion. Cleaned it, works fine now. Repair cost 95€.
