Thanks, I've checked the connections and they look good, and the switch seems fine. Can you tell me exactly which connections you mean, and did you do any electrical tests on the switch?

I mean the plug that goes directly into the clutch switch on the pedal assembly. I didn't do any fancy electrical tests. I just jiggled the connector and wiggled the wires a bit, and it temporarily fixed it, which told me that was where the problem was at. Honestly, with those symptoms, just take it to a shop. It's probably a faulty switch or a bad wire. Will save you time and grief.

Understood. Thanks for sharing. I took your advice and sent it to the shop. They said it was a faulty clutch pedal switch, and the replacement was about 95€, including labor. It's all sorted now.

Sounds familiar. I had something similar happen in my Grandland X. No gear indicator, cruise control dead, and it cranked but wouldn't fire sometimes. First thing I'd check is the simple stuff – are the connections to the clutch switch clean and properly seated? Is the switch itself physically damaged?
