Grandland X Coolant Loss

Coolant level keeps dropping in my 2019 Grandland X diesel, triggering the check engine light. I've checked hoses and the expansion tank for leaks and bled the system, but can't find anything obvious.

Hey, I had something similar with my Grandland X. Is your engine overheating at all? Does the cooling fan kick in as it should? Mine was guzzling coolant.

Thanks. No overheating, and the cooling fan seems to be working fine. What was your experience?

Right, no overheating is good. In my case, the water pump was leaking, not heavily, but enough to slowly drain the coolant. I'd say get the cooling system pressure tested; that's what revealed it for me.

A pressure test seems like the next logical step. It turned out to be a faulty thermostat housing that was leaking slightly. Repair cost was 52€. Thanks for the help.
