Grandland X engine issues

I haven't checked the mass airflow sensor specifically, but I did visually inspect the intake manifold for blockages. Is it difficult to check the mass airflow sensor, and could a faulty throttle body also cause these symptoms?

Checking the MAF sensor isn't too bad, but with those symptoms and your mileage, it could be a few things. That rich mixture error points to fuel injection issues and rough idling is never a good sign. I'd get it to a workshop to get it checked out properly.

Took your suggestion and brought it in. It was indeed the fuel injectors, as I suspected. They replaced the defective injector, and the total cost was 515€. It's running smoothly again now.

Sounds frustrating. Similar thing happened with my old Renault Megane: check engine light, loss of power, and rough idling. Turned out to be a faulty mass airflow sensor causing the engine to run rich. Have you checked yours?
