Grandland X Engine Stalling

The fuel/air mixture is affected. Is that because the system can't regulate the pressure in the fuel tank? Would a faulty pressure sensor also cause similar symptoms?

Exactly. The valve maintains the correct pressure. If it fails, the pressure sensor will likely detect an anomaly and trigger the check engine light. Blocked hoses will prevent ventilation, leading to pressure issues. Given the complexity, I'd advise a workshop visit for inspection and repair. I had to go to the shop for mine.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. A professional assessment is needed. I'll schedule an appointment to address the tank ventilation valve and related parts. For anyone interested, it was clogged hoses with the tank ventilation valve, and the repair cost 175€.

I have a Grandland X, though it's older. Your symptoms sound familiar. A bad tank ventilation valve can mess with the fuel/air mixture. The engine control unit (ECU) detects the lean mixture from the oxygen sensor and tries to compensate. Any specific error codes when the check engine light is on? That could help pinpoint the problem.
