Grandland X Exhaust Temperature Sensor Issue

I'm seeing a weird issue with my 2023 Vauxhall Grandland X gasoline. At 174467 kilometers, the check engine light is on and off, engine power is down, and fuel consumption is up. Diagnostics point to a faulty exhaust temperature sensor, maybe a leak in the exhaust system. Any ideas?

That sounds frustrating! I have a Grandland X, too, and something similar happened to me a while back. Was it throwing any specific error codes related to the exhaust or any other emission control components?

The diagnostic report says there's a fault within the exhaust temperature sensor circuit. Did you see the same thing?

Yes, precisely! It turned out to be the exhaust sensor itself. I would advise you to take it to a workshop to get it checked properly. I remember that it was a bit expensive to fix.

Thanks, good to know. I'm taking it to a workshop. They quoted around 265€.
