Grandland X Headlight Range Error

Having trouble with my 2020 Vauxhall Grandland X diesel. The 'check headlight range control' error keeps popping up. Warning light is on, and the low beams are all over the place. My diagnostic tool says it's a fault related to the headlight servomotor. Has anyone else run into this?

I had something similar with my Grandland X. Same symptoms – lights all over the place. Did you check the electrical connectors to the headlight unit? Sometimes they can get corroded or loose, messing with the signal to the auto-leveling system.

Cheers for the tip! I did give the connectors a quick once-over, but I'll take a closer look. When you say 'similar,' was it the servomotor itself that was faulty, or was it something else triggering the issue? Was the light intensity affected? I also thought about a control module, what do you think?

After checking all the connections, it turned out to be the servomotor itself. I would not mess with the control module, unless you are an expert. Seriously, unless you are experienced, go to a workshop!

Appreciate the insight. I checked the connectors thoroughly as you suggested, but no luck. Looks like it is the servomotor. Took it to the workshop. They confirmed it and quoted me 1040€ for the repair. Thanks for your help!
