Grandland X Low Heating Output
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Vauxhall Grandland X diesel was experiencing low heating output, with an error suggesting a defective water valve. After checking the coolant level and ruling out engine noises, the issue was suspected to be related to the water valve. Coolant level is fine, no strange noises. Just weak heat, and the error code points towards the water valve. What was the issue with your Volvo in the end?

Turned out to be a faulty thermostat, but my mechanic mentioned a clogged valve could cause similar symptoms. Given your error code, it's probably worth having the valve checked professionally. Could be a simple fix like a bad connection.

Thanks for the tip! The cable or the plug connection of the water valve was indeed defective. Repair cost me 95€, now the heating is working again.

Could be a valve issue. I had similar heating problems in my old Volvo a few years back. Was the coolant level okay? Any weird noises from the engine?
