Grandland X Oil Pressure Warning

My 2019 Vauxhall Grandland X, gasoline engine, has 117155 km. The oil pressure warning lamp lights up, and there's a warning light in the speedometer. Diagnostics shows an error related to the engine oil temperature sensor. Any ideas? Oil level is fine.

I had a similar issue with my 2016 Skoda Octavia. Same symptoms: warning light, error code pointing to a faulty sensor. Did the diagnostics mention anything about a possible defective cable or plug connection?

Yes, the diagnostics suggests a possible defective cable or plug connection. What was the solution for you?

In my case, the issue was indeed a corroded connector. However, I'd still recommend taking it to a workshop to get it properly checked. Better safe than sorry with engine sensors.

Thanks for the advice! It turned out to be a faulty connection, as suspected. Repair cost me 95€ at the workshop. Appreciate the help!
