In my case, the issue was indeed a corroded connector. However, I'd still recommend taking it to a workshop to get it properly checked. Better safe than sorry with engine sensors.

Thanks for the advice! It turned out to be a faulty connection, as suspected. Repair cost me 95€ at the workshop. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my 2016 Skoda Octavia. Same symptoms: warning light, error code pointing to a faulty sensor. Did the diagnostics mention anything about a possible defective cable or plug connection?
