Grandland X radiator cable issue

Interesting! A loose connection, eh? I haven't checked that specifically. Where exactly on the radiator should I be looking for these cable and plug connections? And is there any way to test the pressure sensor?

On my Volvo, the connection was near the bottom of the radiator. Look for anything that seems loose or corroded. But honestly, without proper equipment, testing the sensor yourself would be tricky. Given the symptoms and the error code, it is most likely that you also have a faulty cable or plug connection of the component. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop if you're not comfortable fiddling with it yourself. It could save you a lot of time and headache.

Thanks for the advice. I did take it to a shop, and you were spot on. Turns out it was a defective cable connection to the radiator. The bill came to 95€. Hopefully, that's the end of it!

Sounds frustrating! I had something similar happen with my old Volvo. It wasn't exactly the same symptoms, but the transmission was acting up. Did you check all the cable and plug connections to the radiator? That was the root cause for me. One was loose and throwing everything off. Is the coolant level normal? Any signs of leaks?
