Thanks for the quick reply! Where is the exhaust back pressure sensor located and why do you think it relates to particulate filter?

I'm not 100% sure where it is, sorry. I just wanted to mention it because the symptoms seem so similar! Maybe best to take it to a local garage rather than start tinkering yourself. It might be a blocked DPF as you thought but they can at least diagnose what the issue is.

Thanks for your advice. I took it to a garage and it was indeed the exhaust back pressure sensor. They replaced it for 245€ and the car is running perfectly again!

Hey there! I had almost the exact same thing happen with my Grandland X. Warning light, sluggish performance, the works. Have you checked the exhaust back pressure sensor? That was the culprit for me.
