The engine is struggling noticeably, and yes, the battery warning light illuminates intermittently. Could you elaborate on your experience and the eventual resolution?

Right, the intermittent light... That's exactly what happened to me. It started as an occasional flicker, then full-on Christmas tree on the dash. In my case, the garage confirmed a faulty battery sensor. Honestly, I'd advise getting it checked out properly by a qualified technician. Don't risk getting stranded somewhere!

Understood. I appreciate the confirmation. I had the battery sensor replaced, following your advice. The repair cost 315€, and the symptoms have now disappeared. Thank you for your assistance.

Oh, wow, that sounds familiar! I've got a Grandland X too, and had something similar happen a while back. The lights were driving me crazy! Was the car struggling to turn over, or just taking a little longer than usual? Did you get any warning lights on the dashboard?
