Thanks for the reply! Fuel economy is the same as always. Where exactly should I be looking for this dodgy connection? Any specific areas that are prone to failure?

Given the symptoms persist and the fuel economy hasn't shifted, I would advise against further self-diagnosis. The location of the sensor and associated wiring can vary, and without proper tools, you might cause further damage. I suggest you have the vehicle inspected by a qualified technician to confirm the fault and carry out the repair.

Cheers! Took your advice and went to the workshop. Turns out it WAS the fuel pressure sensor. They said the cable was a bit dodgy too. New sensor fitted and all sorted for 95€! Thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my GrandlandX. The symptoms you describe align with a defective fuel pressure sensor. Given your suspicion of a cable or plug connection, it's worth checking those thoroughly before replacing the sensor itself. Has the fuel economy been worse lately?
