GrandlandX injection nozzle issue

My 2021 Vauxhall GrandlandX with a gasoline engine (137109 km) starts poorly, fuel consumption is up, engine power is noticeably reduced, and the engine idles unevenly, even stalling sometimes. I suspect a defective injection nozzle, potentially due to a dirty injection valve. Has anyone else experienced this?

I also drive a GrandlandX, though I am unsure of the exact build year. I experienced very similar issues. The symptoms you describe are spot-on with what I was facing. It was incredibly frustrating, especially the inconsistent idling. I also suspected it might be the fuel injectors or something related to the fuel system. Have you noticed any changes in your exhaust emissions or any unusual smells?

Emissions might be slightly higher, but nothing concrete. No unusual smells. Did you manage to identify the root cause?

After several visits to the workshop, they confirmed it was indeed related to the fuel injection system. They suggested that the injection valve was dirty. I would strongly recommend having your vehicle professionally inspected. I fear it is something beyond my abilities. Better safe than sorry!

Thanks for the advice. Took it to a garage, and you were spot on. Defective injection nozzle. Repair cost me 515€. Now runs like new.
