Thanks for the quick reply! I did have a look at the connections, but couldn't really see anything obviously wrong. Is there a specific way to test the connections to be sure? I'm not really clued up when it comes to car electrics!

Yeah, probing around without knowing what you are doing isn't great. Given the exhaust leak and the error code, the NOx sensor is highly suspect. Sometimes the connections look fine, but are corroded internally. Honestly, for something like this, especially with a hybrid, I would bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. Could save you money in the long run – messing with the exhaust system can be a nightmare. Better safe than sorry!

Okay, thanks for the advice! I took it to a local garage, and you were spot on. It was indeed a faulty connection to the NOx sensor. They replaced the connector and all is well now. Total cost was about 95€, which I thought was reasonable. Appreciate your help!

Yep, sounds like a faulty NOx sensor! I had a similar issue with my old Astra a few years back. The check engine light is a dead giveaway. Exhaust leak too? Could be related. Have you checked the sensor's connections yourself? Give 'em a wiggle and see if anything changes. Might save you a trip to the shop!
