GrandlandX Transmission Issues
Summary of the thread
The 2022 Vauxhall GrandlandX Hybrid experienced transmission issues, including warning lights, rough gear changes, and occasional grinding noises. The problem was linked to error codes indicating transmission oil temperature issues. A faulty transmission oil temperature sensor and slightly low gearbox oil were identified as the causes. Replacing the sensor and topping up the oil resolved the issues.

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you tell me how to check the gearbox oil level on this model?

The GrandlandX Hybrid is different from my old Astra because it's automatic. I don't know the specifics, but you should take it to a workshop. It might be low oil, or the sensor itself could be bad. You don't want to mess up the transmission; repairs are very expensive. Just get it checked.

Thanks for the advice. It turned out to be a faulty transmission oil temperature sensor and slightly low gearbox oil. I had the sensor replaced and the oil topped up. The total cost was 365€.

Sounds like it could be a dodgy tranny temp sensor. Gearbox going into limp mode is scary! Something similar happened to my old Astra, but it just wouldn't shift. Low oil can cause those symptoms too, if the sensor isn't covered. Have you checked the gearbox oil level?
