GrandlandX Turn Signal Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Vauxhall GrandlandX is experiencing a turn signal fault, with an error message displayed on the speedometer. The bulb appears fine, leading to suspicion of a defective cable or plug connection. A suggestion was made to inspect the flasher relay, but ultimately, a workshop diagnostic confirmed the issue as a defective cable and plug connection, which was then repaired.

I haven't checked the flasher relay yet. Where would I typically find that in a GrandlandX, and is there an easy way to test if it's working correctly?

On my Octavia, it was located in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Given your vehicle is relatively new and considering the error messages, the issue is likely more complex than a simple relay. If the error is stored in the ECU, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop for a proper diagnostic to avoid further complications.

I appreciate the advice. I'll take it to a workshop and have them run a diagnostic check. You were right about the complex issue! The workshop confirmed it was a defective cable and plug connection, and the repair cost me 95€.

I had a similar issue with my 2018 Skoda Octavia not long ago. Have you inspected the flasher relay? Sometimes a faulty relay can cause intermittent issues, even if the bulbs appear functional.
