Thanks for the reply! I haven't tested the battery yet, but it's on my list. When you had this issue, did it completely drain the battery or was it just a slow drain over time? Also, did any specific systems fail for you? I’m trying to get some clues.

Well, it wasn't a super quick drain, more like a creeping sort of thing. One day it was fine, the next it was sulking like a teenager who had their phone taken away. The sat nav was the first to go, then the parking sensors started acting up. Honestly, I’d say take it to a proper garage. I ended up doing that after messing about for ages, and they sorted it pretty quick. Best of luck!

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. I appreciate it! I'll take it to the workshop. The battery was indeed heavily discharged and defective, they replaced it for 290€.

Oh, you're not alone! I had almost the exact same thing happen with my GrandlandX (no idea about the year). Car was acting like it had a ghost in the machine. Like, one minute the radio's blasting, the next it's all quiet. Have you had your battery tested? Could be a dodgy cell, or maybe the alternator isn't charging it properly? It’s like trying to fill a bucket with a hole in the bottom.
