Greiz Tire Pressure ABS and Steering Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Honda Greiz owner experienced issues with a persistent tire pressure warning, an illuminated ABS light, and steering wheel vibrations, indicating potential power steering failure. These problems were suspected to be interconnected, possibly due to a faulty tire pressure sensor affecting the ABS system. Upon inspection, it was discovered that one tire had significantly lower pressure due to a defective valve, which was replaced, resolving the issues.

Thanks for the info. I've checked, and indeed, one tire is significantly lower than the others. What do you mean by 'tire pressure sensor can sometimes mess with the ABS'?

Basically, modern cars have all sorts of sensors talking to each other. The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sends data to the car's computer. If a sensor is faulty or gives a weird reading, it can confuse other systems like the ABS. Since you have one tire that is much lower, I would strongly suggest that you visit your local workshop.

Thanks for the help. Went to a workshop; turns out the valve in the tire was defective, causing a slow leak. Got it replaced, and the total repair came to 280€. Everything is working fine again.

Hey, those symptoms do sound worrying! The tire pressure warning, ABS light, and steering issues could be linked. A faulty tire pressure sensor can sometimes mess with the ABS. Plus, if a tire is low, it'll definitely make the steering feel heavier and cause vibrations. Have you checked your actual tire pressures with a tire gauge? Are they all equally low, or just one?
