GS damping adjustment fault

I have a 2000 Lexus GS with a gasoline engine and I'm experiencing a damping adjustment fault. I get an error stored in the memory and a warning light on the speedometer. The ride has become very bumpy. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced this?

Wow, that sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my GS. It was driving me crazy. Is it constantly bumpy, or does it come and go? It felt like I was riding a bucking bronco!

It's pretty constant, unfortunately. Just wondering, was your issue also intermittent at first or similar to mine?

Yeah, mine started out intermittent, but eventually became constant like yours. Honestly, I fiddled with it for a bit, but I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They can diagnose it properly and save you a ton of time and frustration.
