GS electronic parking brake malfunction

Has anyone experienced issues with the electronic parking brake on their 2015 Lexus GS gasoline engine? The handbrake is non-functional, there's an error stored, and the warning light is on. The car has 190603 km. I've read it could be a defective electric motor in the brake caliper.

Sounds exactly like what happened to mine. I wouldn't mess with it yourself to be honest. Just find a reliable workshop and have them check the electric motor in the brake calliper. They should sort it out fairly quickly.

Thank you for the advice. I appreciate you confirming the issue I am experiencing. I will take it to a workshop as you suggested. The estimated repair cost they gave me is 505€, which seems reasonable.
