GS Engine Stalling

I'm having trouble with my 2019 Lexus GS hybrid, which has 164623 km on it. The check engine light comes on sometimes, and the engine recently stalled at idle. I think it might be the gas cap or tank ventilation. Has anyone else seen this?

I have a GS too, and that sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with the engine light and occasional stalling. It was the tank ventilation valve. Check if the hoses connected to it are clogged. That's what it was for me.

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you give me more details on how you found the clogged hoses and where the tank ventilation valve is? Any extra info would be great.

I couldn't figure it out myself. I took it to a shop, and they said it was clogged hoses connected to the purge valve. The mechanic said it's a common issue. I'd suggest doing the same to be safe.
