GS Hybrid Limp Mode Gearbox Issues

My 2008 Lexus GS hybrid is acting up. It's got almost 200k km on it. Keeps going into limp home mode, and the gearbox feels like it's slipping. I saw something about ABS issues causing this, anyone else had this happen?

I had similar issues with my GS. Limp mode and weird shifting. Check your fault codes, could be a control module thing. Did anything happen before it started?

Thanks! No nothing specific. Just started happening randomly. Where should I look for fault codes?

Same here, no warning. I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop, they'll have the right tools to read the codes properly. Could be transfer case related.

Turns out the dealer fixed it all under warranty. All sorted, no cost!
