Good question! I should have specified. It seems to be the entire seat, both the cushion and backrest are cold.

Yep, sounds like what I had. Ended up being a defective heating element. I'd take it to a good shop; they can diagnose it properly and give you a quote.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate it. I had it checked out, and you were right, the heating mat was defective. Cost me 390€ to get it sorted, but at least my butt will be warm this winter!

I had a similar problem with my GS. Does it affect both the seat cushion and backrest, or just one area?
