Thanks for the tip! Do you remember what the error code was in your case? I'm getting something related to 'wiper motor circuit malfunction,' which makes me think it's not the motor itself since they aren't moving at all. Could still be a short circuit, but a defective switch seems more logical.

I don't recall the exact error code, to be honest. Given your symptoms and the error code, I'd suggest taking it to a trusted workshop. They'll be able to diagnose the wiring harness and confirm the cable connections properly. It will save you a lot of time and potential headaches!

Appreciate the advice. Turns out it was a defective cable/plug connection, just like the error memory said. Got it sorted at the local shop; cost me 95€.

I had a similar problem with my GS. Check the wiper switch itself and its connector; maybe the wiring harness has a loose plug. I would check the rain sensor first, but the switch could be the culprit. Does the error code give you any hints?
