GS Wiper Malfunction

I've got a 2010 Lexus GS hybrid with a wiper issue. The wipers aren't functioning. The diagnostic tool is throwing an error, but the fuses seem fine. I've read it could be a faulty rain sensor or steering column wiring, but I'm not sure where to start. Any ideas before I tear apart the dash?

I had a similar problem with my GS. Check the wiper switch itself and its connector; maybe the wiring harness has a loose plug. I would check the rain sensor first, but the switch could be the culprit. Does the error code give you any hints?

Appreciate the advice. Turns out it was a defective cable/plug connection, just like the error memory said. Got it sorted at the local shop; cost me 95€.
