I have visually inspected the accessible portions of the wiring harness and plug connection. However, because of the sensor's location, a thorough examination of the entire cable length has been challenging. Could you elaborate on the specific location of the sensor and any difficulties you encountered during your inspection?

Honestly, I didn't do the repair myself. I took it to a workshop because I didn't want to mess with the electronics. They confirmed it was the sensor and a corroded connector. Since you've already seen the error code, it's probably best to have it checked out. That way, you can avoid any further issues with the climate control system.

Based on your experience and the complexity involved, I have decided to entrust the repair to a qualified workshop. Following their assessment, it was confirmed that the cable connection to the interior temperature sensor was defective, impeding proper temperature reading and overall climate regulation. A sensor replacement and minor wiring repair resulted in the restoration of the automatic temperature control functionality. The climate issues have been resolved, and I extend my gratitude for your assistance.

I had something similar happen on my GT Roadster. The climate control was acting up, and the air conditioning wouldn't kick on. The diagnostic also pointed to the interior temperature sensor. From what I remember, the sensor is a bit of a pain to get to. Did you check the wiring harness for any obvious signs of damage or corrosion?
