Thanks for the quick reply! The fluid is definitely below the minimum line, enough to trigger the warning. Did yours also happen gradually, or was it a sudden drop? Did you notice any change in braking performance before the light came on?

Mine was gradual, I think. It wasn’t like BAM, no brakes. Just get it checked out by a pro. It ended up being worn brakes and needed fluid replacement in the hydraulic brakes system. Don't mess around with car brakes.

You're right, probably best to leave it to the experts. I took it to the shop; the brake pads were worn, and the brake fluid needed a change. New pads, fluid replacement, and a check of the brake lines set me back 480€. Thanks for the nudge!

That sounds familiar! I’ve got a GT Roadster too, and I had a similar problem last year: low brake fluid and funny feedback through the pedal. The first thing I’d check are the brake lines for any leaks. Is the fluid really low, or just a little bit under the line? It could be a cheap fix if it is just a leak!
