GT Roadster manifold sensor issues

My 2017 GT Roadster with a gasoline engine is showing some concerning symptoms at 38568 km. The check engine light illuminated, power is noticeably reduced, and the engine response is poor, with higher fuel consumption to boot. I suspect a faulty manifold pressure sensor. Looking at the data, it seems like there is a large vacuum leakage. Has anyone dealt with this before?

I had something similar happen on my GT Roadster. Engine light came on, and it felt like I was driving with the parking brake on. Did you check the MAP sensor itself? I know they can get dirty or just fail. What kind of readings are you getting from the manifold pressure sensor? Was the car misfiring?

Regarding the sensor, I've checked the wiring and connections, which seem fine. I haven't measured the readings directly, but the diagnostic tool is reporting values outside the expected range. The car isn't misfiring from what I can tell, just feels sluggish. Is this manifold sensor failure a common issue?

Yeah, sounds pretty close to what I experienced. My mechanic mentioned sensor failure on these is not uncommon, especially if there's a vacuum leak stressing the manifold pressure sensor. I'd suggest getting it properly diagnosed at a reputable workshop, it will save you headaches in the long run.

Appreciate the insight. Took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. It was indeed the manifold sensor. Replaced it, and the vacuum leak was addressed. Total cost came to 235€. Runs like new now, thanks again!
