Yes, for me the problem was a corroded connector on the knock sensor. However, if cleaning the connector doesn't solve the issue, I would strongly recommend having the sensor checked at a workshop. Continuing to drive with this issue may cause poor performance.

Thanks for the insight! I'll check the connection first. I ended up taking it to the shop, and you were right - corroded connector. Total cost was 95€ for the repair.

I had similar symptoms with my GT86. Have you checked the knock sensor's cable and plug connection? A defective connection can cause these issues and trigger the warning light. Ignition timing could be affected.
