GT86 Engine Stalling

Hi, I've got a 2015 Toyota GT86 with a gasoline engine, and the check engine light is on. When I stop, the engine sometimes stalls. I checked the gas cap, but it seems fine. Could it be the tank ventilation valve? Mileage is 135552 km.

I had a similar issue with my GT86. The check engine light kept appearing, and the idle was rough. Have you looked at the hoses connected to the EVAP system? Sometimes they get clogged like an old artery.

They're a bit tricky to reach without a lift, kind of like trying to find a specific wire in a tangled mess. Honestly, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They'll diagnose it properly. Turns out mine were cracked and causing vacuum leak.

You were spot on! Took it to the shop, and they found the hoses were clogged. New ventilation valve and hoses, and it runs great again. Cost me 175€ Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
