GT86 GPS Antenna Issue

I've got a 2016 Toyota GT86 with a gasoline engine, and I'm experiencing some GPS issues. The navigation system isn't getting any reception, and a diagnostic tool showed an error related to the GPS antenna. I'm suspecting the antenna is defective. Has anyone else run into this? Any ideas on where to start?

Hey! I also have a GT86 and had a similar problem a while back. GPS just stopped working. Did you check the antenna connection behind the head unit?

Yeah, accessing it isn't too bad, just a few trim pieces to remove. I had a similar issue, but I don't remember the exact error code. Ultimately, I ended up taking it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was the antenna.

Okay, great, thanks for the info! Sounds like I'll check the connection first, but it's probably the antenna itself. I'll take it to a shop to get it sorted. They quoted me around 200€ for the GPS antenna replacement. Thanks again!
