GT86 Seat Heater Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Toyota GT86 has a seat heater issue where the driver's seat is not warming up, and an error code related to the seat heating is stored. The problem is likely due to a faulty heating mat, as suggested by a similar past experience. The recommended solution is to have the heating mat inspected and potentially replaced by a professional workshop.

It's just the driver's seat. I did check the fuses, and they seem fine. So, if it wasn't the fuses, what was the issue with yours?

Okay, just the driver's seat points to the heating mat itself being the problem. Mine was exactly the same. I ended up taking it to a workshop; they confirmed it was the mat and replaced it. Cost me about 390€. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with it myself unless you're really confident with car electrics.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like the heating mat is the likely culprit. I'll book it in with a workshop and get them to take a look. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar problem with my GT86. Does it affect both seats or just one? When mine went, it was just the driver's side. Have you checked the fuses? That's the first thing I'd look at before assuming the worst.
