GTR Brake Lights Failure

Hey, I'm having trouble with the brake lights on my 2011 Nissan GTR, gasoline engine, with 70843 km. They've stopped working, and I'm getting an error message on the infotainment system. It's also stored in the error memory. Pretty concerning.

I had a similar issue with my old 2014 BMW 3 series. My tail lights went dark suddenly! Sounds like a faulty brake light switch. Have you checked that?

On my BMW, the mechanic showed me the brake switch is near the brake pedal. If you're not comfortable, I'd recommend a workshop. I almost broke mine doing it myself. Better safe than sorry!

Thanks so much for your help! I took your advice and went to the workshop. The brake light switch was faulty, probably from when I tried adjusting it. They replaced it, and now it's working perfectly. The error message is gone, and the brake lights are working! The repair cost was 0€, covered by warranty.
