GTR climate control failure
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Nissan GTR experienced a climate control failure, with the panel appearing dead and issues with heating and AC functionality. The problem was traced to a faulty connection in the wiring harness feeding the climate control unit. The suggested solution was to check the wiring harness with a multimeter, but professional assistance was recommended. Ultimately, a mechanic confirmed and fixed the defective cable/plug connection.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is that wiring harness located? Is it something I can get to without taking apart the entire dashboard?

It's situated on the passenger side, beneath the glove compartment. Accessing it requires removing several trim panels, but I strenuously recommend you abstain from disassembly and take the car to a professional workshop. You lack the requisite experience to fix this issue.

Alright, I appreciate the advice. I took it to a mechanic, and you were spot on. It was a defective cable/plug connection. They fixed it for a reasonable 95€. Thanks again!

Interesting. I had a similar problem with my GTR. It turned out to be a faulty connection in the wiring harness that fed the climate control unit. I would suggest that you probe the harness with a multimeter to determine if voltage or continuity requirements as prescribed by the service manual are not being met. Ensure you use the appropriate wiring diagrams before commencing; damage and further malfunction can occur if performed incorrectly.
