GTR engine start issues

My 2007 Nissan GTR with a gasoline engine is being a pain. Mileage is at 207789 km. Sometimes it won't start, other times it shuts off while driving, and when it does run, it's rough. Dashboard lights are going nuts. I've checked battery connections. Could a defective fuse be the culprit?

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my old BMW 3 Series a while back. Engine start problems and weird dashboard lights. I'm no expert, but have you checked the ignition key or the starter motor? Maybe it's a car ignition issue.

You mention the ignition key... what exactly was the problem with your BMW? Was it intermittent like this, or constant?

Yeah, it was intermittent at first, then got worse. Turned out to be a dodgy fuse related to the ignition switch. It's like a fuse is supposed to protect the circuit, but when it goes bad, it messes everything up. A workshop visit should quickly clarify the issue.

Turns out it was a defective fuse in the ignition circuit. Cost me 52€ to replace. Runs like new again.
