GTR sporadic malfunctions

Alright fellow GTR enthusiasts, I'm at my wit's end. My 2017 Nissan GTR, gasoline engine, with 202255 km on the clock, is throwing some seriously concerning errors. We're talking sporadic malfunctions – driving mode errors popping up out of nowhere, the malfunction indicator lamp illuminating intermittently, and a symphony of system failures, mostly impacting audio and navigation. I've even experienced temporary shutdowns of control units. Is this the twilight of my beloved Godzilla? Of course, I hooked up a scan tool, and wouldn't you know it, the error memory is overflowing. Anyone else grapple with these gremlins?

Summary of the thread

I had similar issues with my 2019 BMW 5 series. Sporadic errors, systems going offline... frustrating, right? Did the errors seem to correlate with anything specific, like bumps in the road, or were they completely random?

Completely random, as far as I can tell. No rhyme or reason. Did you ever figure out what was causing that issue on your BMW?

Eventually, yes. In my case, it turned out to be a defective cable connection to one of the main control units, specifically the BUS system connection. It sounds eerily similar to what you're describing. I would suggest taking it to a reputable workshop.

Thanks, that's incredibly helpful. I'll get it checked out ASAP. It was indeed a defective cable connection to the control unit, just like you said! Repair cost me 155€. Appreciate the advice!
