GX Active Hood Fault and Airbag Light

Hey, I've got a weird issue with my 2023 Lexus GX hybrid. It's got 167138 kilometers on it, and the computer's showing an 'Active hood fault'. The airbag light's on too. Scans show an error, and it looks like the spring actuators have been triggered. Could this be a bad hood latch, or maybe something with the electronics or the impact sensor?

I had something similar happen on my GX. Check the acceleration sensor. It might be faulty.

Yes, exactly the same. I'd get it checked out by a workshop. Saved me a bunch of headaches.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a mechanic, and you were right, the acceleration sensor was bad. Replacement and labor cost 315€. Thanks again for the help!
