GX climate control panel failure
Summary of the thread
The issue involves a 2022 Lexus GX with a non-functional climate control panel, low heating output, and an unresponsive AC. The suspected cause is a defective cable or plug connection. A similar problem was resolved by checking and fixing loose electrical connectors behind the climate control panel, which required removing the center console trim. If uncomfortable with this task, visiting a workshop for professional diagnosis and repair is recommended.

Thanks for the tip! When you say 'behind the climate control panel,' do I have to remove the entire center console trim to access them? Or is there an easier way to get to the wiring harness? Any specific connectors I should look at first?

Yes, accessing the connectors requires removing the center console trim, which is a pain. If you're not comfortable, I suggest a workshop. I went to one and they confirmed the issue and fixed the problem with a new connector. It cost me around 95€ to sort it out.

That's helpful. I appreciate you sharing! I'll inspect the connectors as best I can, but I think I'll end up taking it to the workshop for diagnosis and repair. Thanks again!

Hey! I had something similar happen with my GX. Drove me nuts! Have you checked the electrical connectors behind the climate control panel? That was my culprit. A loose connection caused havoc.
