GX electric steering column issue

While not on a Lexus, I had a similar issue on my old BMW 5 Series. Same symptoms – steering column adjustment failure and an error code. Turned out to be a faulty connector. Have you checked the fuses?

I don't recall the exact connector. But given the similar symptoms, thoroughly inspect all connectors related to the steering column adjustment motor and its control module. If the error code is present, a shop should be able to find the defective cable or plug connection. Might be best to bring it in.

Thanks for confirming a similar experience. I'll do a full inspection, and if needed, take it to a shop. The garage found a defective cable and replaced it for 95€.
