GX turn signal error
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Lexus GX is experiencing a turn signal error, with the fault stored in the error memory and displayed on the speedometer. The issue is suspected to be a lighting fault, possibly due to a defective cable or plug connection. A similar case suggested checking the flasher relay and inspecting the bulb socket for corrosion. The problem was resolved by addressing a corroded connection at the bulb socket.

Interesting. Could you elaborate on which specific flasher relay you're referring to? And where exactly I should be looking for corrosion in the bulb socket?

In my case, it was the flasher relay for the right turn signal specifically. Corrosion was visible right where the bulb connects in the socket. Given the symptoms and your suspicion of a cable fault, though, taking it to a workshop might be wise. I ended up spending only 95€ for the repair.

Thank you for the insight. I appreciate you sharing your experience. I had the issue resolved at a local garage. Turns out it was indeed a corroded connection at the bulb socket, as you suggested. Appreciated!

I had a similar issue with my GX. Check the flasher relay; it's a common cause. Also, inspect the bulb socket for corrosion. I have seen this before.
