GX washer fluid warning light and pump failure

My 2003 Lexus GX gasoline engine has a recurring low washer fluid warning light, even after refills. The windshield washer system isn't working, and a diagnostic tool shows an error. Could this be a sensor or a more complex issue?

I had a similar problem with my GX. Check the pump. It might be faulty or clogged.

How did you diagnose the pump? Did you have any other symptoms besides the warning light?

The washer fluid wasn't spraying. The light came on first, then nothing. A shop said the pump was gone. Best to get it checked.

The pump was indeed faulty. Replacement cost 25€, and the windshield washer system now works. The error message is also gone. Thanks for the help!
