H1 damping adjustment fault
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Hyundai H1 diesel is experiencing a damping adjustment fault, indicated by a warning light and a bumpy ride. The issue may be due to a defective cable or plug connection. Checking the suspension system's cable connections is suggested, but a visit to a workshop is recommended for a thorough diagnosis and repair.

Thanks. No real change in handling, just discomfort. Which cable connections would you recommend checking?

Given it's mainly ride comfort, I'd still check all accessible suspension system connections. I am no expert though, but you're on the right track. I'd suggest a workshop visit. I was quoted 95€ for the repair, so you have a reference.

Thanks for the help and suggestion. I appreciate the insight and the repair cost estimate. I'll take it to a workshop.

I own a H1 too, and this sounds familiar. I had a similar experience with a bumpy ride and warning lights. Any change in handling, or just generally uncomfortable? I'm not a mechanic, but I'd check the cable connections.
