H1 oil pressure warning lamp issue
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Hyundai H1 diesel with 185,235 km is experiencing intermittent oil pressure warning lamp activation and an error message indicating a faulty oil level sensor signal. The likely cause is identified as a defective cable or plug connection. The suggested solution is to have the cable or plug connection professionally inspected and repaired, which resolves the issue.

The warning light flickers, it's not constantly on. The engine seems to be performing normally, no noticeable issues there. What exactly was the issue you experienced?

Okay, the flickering light is very similar to what I experienced. Considering it is a diesel engine, the oil level sensor signal might be compromised. Given my experience and your symptoms, I would highly suggest having the cable or plug connection professionally inspected at a workshop.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on. It was a defective connector, and they replaced it. Cost me 95€. All good now!

I also own an H1, and faced a similar problem a while back. Was the warning light constantly on, or did it flicker? Did you notice any changes in the engine's performance?
