Headlight Range Control Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Lexus NX hybrid owner experienced a headlight range control fault, with low beams shining improperly and an error warning. The suspected cause was a defective servomotor. Can you provide additional details as to the electrical connectors' location and how to inspect them? I'm wondering if the auto-leveling system might be the issue.

Yes, my issue was definitely with the auto-leveling. The connector is right on the back of the headlight assembly. I'd recommend having a workshop take a look. From what you are describing it is more than just the connector though.

The dealer confirmed that the servomotor in the headlight was indeed defective. The repair cost came to approximately 1040€.

I had a similar problem with my adaptive headlights on my NX. The lights were really low on one side when it first occurred. Did you check the electrical connectors leading to the headlights? Sometimes a loose connection can cause strange behavior with the auto-leveling system.
